Five Seneca Hose firefighters participated in a mutual aid drill Saturday morning with members from other departments within the Town of West Seneca, as well as surrounding jurisdictions.
Crews trained on skills and tactics used for Mayday procedures and F.A.S.T. (Firefighter Assist and Search Team) operations. Crews also worked on structural fire operations such as hose line advancement and search and rescue skills.
At a time when the number of volunteers is at an all time low, the need for mutual aid is at an all time high. A big thank you to East Seneca Fire for planning and allowing our company to participate!
