Past Chief Norm Brem Receives Award from Southwestern

Past Chief Norm Brem was recognized by the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen for 31-40 years of service at this years Southwestern Firemen’s Convention in West Valley, NY.

Norm is 1 of 3 Seneca Hose members to hold the positions of Chief, President, and Fire Commissioner in Seneca Hose’s History.

6 New Members to the Seneca Hose Family!

Since March of this year, we have taken in 6 new members. Here's who they are and a little about them!

Probationary FF/EMT Tyler Schenck - Tyler joined on March 12th as a Percentage Based member and comes to us as a former member of another town Department. Tyler has numerous Fire courses as well as his NYS EMT. Tyler also is a member of the Erie County Hazmat Team.

Vehicle Accident with Extrication and Rope Rescue

April 17

For the second time in less than a week, members from Seneca Hose were called to Ridge and the 219 For a vehicle rollover.
Crews with assistance from Reserve Volunteer Fire Co stabilized the vehicle, extricated the patient and utilized a rope rescue system to bring the patient up to Ridge Road to an awaiting AMR ambulance.

Seneca Hose Chiefs 9, 9-1, and Rescue 5 responded just after midnight to the reported vehicle accident with injuries at the 219 at Ridge Rd.

President Bryan Zeller, FF/EMT Kate Anderson, and FF/EMT Erin Bendzula are participating in the American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb at Seneca One tower in Buffalo today! 1st Assistant Chief Dylan Seufert, February 17

Seneca Hose Ladder 6 was requested mutual aid to Union for the residential structure fire. Seneca Hose 9 arrived on scene, established command, and reported fire in the 2-3 corner of a single story residence.
